What Is Medicare?
Medicare, is the Federal Insurance plan for seniors and individuals on permanent disability, the Medicare program provides healthcare coverage for Americans 65 and older and for individuals on permanent disability.

The Four Parts of Medicare

1. Medicare Part A - Hospital Insurance that covers hospital stays and services provided by skilled nursing facilities.
2. Medicare Part B - Outpatient medicare insurance that covers doctor office visits and preventative health care.
3. Medicare Part C - Also known as Medicare Advantage Plans (HMO and PPO plans), provides coverage through private insurance companies that contract with the Federal Government.
4. Medicare Part D - provides Prescription Drugs coverage.
